Available Dog Training Classes

 
All classes are completely private and take place in your home when YOU have time.  Each class will build on the previous one setting a solid foundation to work with continually as well as consistently.  Classes are between 45 minutes and 60 minutes in duration based upon each dog's personal attention threshold.  During Classes you may discuss behaviors, talk about any concerns, and ask any questions.  There are different levels of training to suit your dog's personal needs and I will help you establish what those are and how we can accommodate them.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS FOR RESCUED DOGS!! IN ALL SESSIONS!

  • Puppy 101 (ages 8 weeks to 1 year)
    This class is 6 weeks in duration and is 1 hr. per session

  • Basic Obedience (ages 1 year and older)
    This class is 6 weeks in duration and is 1 hr. per session

  • *Please note that  6 week class availability may vary.  6 week classes will include but are not limited to: Sit, Down, Stay, Take it, Leave it, Loose Leash Walking, Heel, Come, and more... we will even tackle those problem behaviors such as chewing, barking, play biting, jumping, and potty training. We will also focus on nutrition & exercise to ensure a healthy and happy canine for life.

  • Advanced Obedience (Must have completed Puppy 101 or Basic Obedience to participate)
    6 weeks in duration and is 1 hr. per session
    This class is designed to take training your dog to the next level.  To do this we include off leash work, intensify distractions, and increase distance when working on come when called and remote sits and downs. 

  • Trick Training (Must have completed Puppy 101 or Basic Obedience)
    6 weeks in duration and is 1hr. per session.
    It's time to have fun with your dog again! In this class we will pick out some fun tricks for your dog to learn and show off for your friends!
    You will choose what tricks you'd like to work on and your trainer will help you accomplish it!  Have your dog put his toys away, pose, play dead, roll over, or jump through hoops!
     
  • Introduction to Dog Massage this class is billed per hour.
    In this class you will learn how to calm your dog, help them to relax in new places and bond with you during this 1 hour session.  You will learn all the basics to work through those tight muscle groups.  This is a great way to help your dog become desensitized to touch and enjoy being handled.

  • Behavior Modification & Problem Solving (all ages)
    If you have been through basic training and are seeking to eliminate a specific undesired behavior.
     
  • Individual Lessons (all ages)
    If you do not want to sign up for a 6 week class we will cover specific areas in the time allotted.
